Montreal’s Matagora has completed Y Combinator’s summer 2019 cohort.
Y Combinator, the legendary California-based accelerator program, held its summer 2019 showcase earlier this week.
197 companies pitched over two days at YC’s summer 2019 cohort. In total, 11 Canadian companies earned the nod, just one short of the 12 Canadian companies part of YC’s winter 2018 batch.
Matagora offers online brands affordable pop-up spaces, showrooms and full spaces. The company says it allows businesses to seamlessly access offline traffic which leads to an increase in their online sales and brand awareness.
Moreover, Matagora says online businesses can increase their omnichannel shopping experience by partnering with physical storefronts willing to share their available spaces.
